2024 School Merino Wether Competition Results

This year, the 2024 Merino SA School Merino Wether Competition (SMWC), saw Forty Two South Australian Schools compete against one another with 77 teams of three Merino Wether lambs totalling 231 Sheep and students

The SMWC provides opportunities for students to have contact with many aspects of the Merino sheep industry from Stud and Commercial Breeders, Stock Agents, Wool Buyers, through to Processors. It aims to practically educate and engage students on the commercial production of Merino sheep by giving them a memorable hands-on experience, covering a broad spectrum of sheep and wool production skills.
